"A Ministry of Love
to our Community"

All are welcome at our church!
Loving God & Loving Others
OUR GOAL

Spring View welcomes all people who desire to make Heaven their future home. We are a full-gospel Bible believing ministry reaching out to all ages, all races, and all beliefs with the one goal: HEAVEN. We are always preparing and looking for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A reminder that TODAY is the day of salvation, tomorrow may be too late. And for those who do not believe in the existence of Heaven or Hell: open-mindedly suppose that you may be incorrect. Take a moment to consider that possibility. If you have any questions, we are happy to be a source of answers, community, and love to you. All are welcome to join us!
CHURCH HISTORY

Spring View Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church has an origin going back to May 1900 at their original location in downtown Wilmington at 4th Street and Queen Street. It was the first Freewill Baptist Church in the city of Wilmington and is the mother church of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Church of God, and the Assembly of God.
We are still serving God and the community at our current location of 810 N College Road.

Our church offers the undiluted Word of God, beautiful music, friendship, and a comfortable setting.
What We Believe
-
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God.
-
We believe that there is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
-
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, that Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father, as our intercessor.
-
We believe that “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God,” and that repentance is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
-
We believe that justification is by faith alone, and that regeneration or the new birth through faith in the blood of Christ is absolutely essential.
-
We believe that the sanctification is subsequent to regeneration, and is a definite, instantaneous work of grace obtained by faith of the fully justified believer.
-
We believe that the Pentecostal baptism of the Holy Ghost is an enduement of power for those who have clean hearts, and the initial evidence of the reception of his/her experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
-
We believe that the saved should receive water baptism in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, as a testimony to the world that he/she has accepted Christ as Savior and Lord.
-
We believe in divine healing as provided in the Atonement.
-
We believe in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper as commemorating Christ’s death and anticipating His Second Coming, and foot washing.
-
We believe in the sacrament premillennial Second Coming of Jesus: First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to meet Him in the air; Second, to reign with His saints on earth for a thousand years.
-
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to life eternal, and the lost to everlasting judgement.
